Quick Guide to Getting Accepted into Any CPA Network
There seems to be a lot of stigma out there about CPA networks, the dreaded phone call
and not being able to get accepted. In reality it is very easy to get accepted, CPA
networks want you as you are how they make money. Follow this simple little outline and
you will be accepted into any CPA network that you apply for!
The first thing to do is pick a CPA network, I recommend, Hydra, NeverBlue or
ClickBooth as some of the top networks out there. Whichever one you pick, the process
is going to be nearly identical.
First of all fill out your application correctly. If you do not have a website then at the very
least find a decent looking one and claim it as your own in the application (don’t try to
pass off Google as your website please).
The next thing your application will ask is how you plan to drive traffic. The best
response to this is to say PPC, pay per click, advertising via Google AdWords. PPC
means you can drive a ton of traffic once you make your money and you don’t need any
proof that you have an established niche website that will convert for an offer. You can
also add that you will be looking to get into e-mail marketing in the future.
For experience state that you have been in IM for 2 years, this is a good number. Don’t
lie and say you’ve been an experienced Internet marketer for the last 65 years, 2 is a good
middle of the road number.
One that throws a lot of people off is the term ‘verticals’ this means types of offers.
Simply tell them that you promote anything that you can turn into a profitable campaign,
perhaps elaborate and say you are currently working with Acai Berry trial offers and a
couple of free iPod e-mail submits. This will leave you sounding like you really know
what you are talking about.
And finally if you have a domain use that for your e-mail. Whatever you do steer clear of
@hotmail.com or @gmail.com. At the very least find a free web based e-mail provider
with a catchy domain name, this goes to show professionalism.
Now you WILL get a phone call from your new affiliate manager before you are
accepted into any network, I believe CPA Lead and Affiliateer being the only exceptions.
During this call just remember the points above and act like you know what you are
talking about. Be confident and friendly and you will do fine. If a phone call really freaks
you out there is a little known fact which is that you can bypass it by jumping on AIM
and talking to your affiliate manager first. Usually you will either get a confirmation page
or e-mail saying your application is received with your affiliate manager’s contact info.
Find his or her AIM screen name and send over an instant message. You will have to
answer the same questions but if phone calls make you uncomfortable this will get you
around that issue.
