Choosing Your Offer

The very first thing to do is to choose an offer. If you have a number of CPA accounts then it is recommended that you use the free service over at offervault.com to view offers on all of the different top networks in order to see what is out there and who is paying the best in the most efficient manner possible. I usually just browse for a while until I find something that strikes me as a product with a niche that I understand and then I roll with that. In this instance I will be using a free trial offer for a natural weight loss/diet supplement.

Now that I have chosen an offer I will want to collect a link that is displayed either for PPC traffic or e-mail marketing. This is often also referred to as a ‘plain text’ link. Save this somewhere as we are going to use it to set up a redirect.

Creating a Redirect

Now we are going to take this link and create a redirect for the offer that you picked out. The purpose of this is two-fold:

1.It gives a clean looking domain to promote. Instead of seeing http://www.garbage.com/were/25435345.html you can just promote http://www.keyword.com
2.It provides a meta refresh which will in turn make this redirect the referrer data so your CPA network will just assume you are promoting via PPC means which means you don’t have to make sure your affiliate manager is okay with these promotion tactics, although they are more grey hat than black hat.

Open up a new notepad/wordpad document and paste in the following:

Of course, replace the URL with the link for the CPA offer that you picked out before. Just save this file as index.html and upload to your hosting. You now have a redirect up and running…

What we are now going to do is to promote this offer by creating an ebook and then distributing this same ebook in a few different ways.

Creating an eBook

Since you probably don’t want to actually write out a whole ebook for each product you can hit up torrent sites for this and also Google searches will often yield niche related ebooks. In this case, I am going to use an ebook about a weight loss exercise routine that I found with a short Google search. If you want to keep this entirely white hat just search for PLR, or private label rights, ebooks which you are allowed to modify and distribute.

I now copy the entire contents of this ebook to a new word document (edit>select all and then copy) and at the very end I put in a short paragraph that, in this instance, looks like this:

In combination with this system I highly recommend that you look into BodyGlo which is a natural supplement that will both give you more energy for this workout routine and also will help with weight loss on its own. That’s it. I now convert this back to a .PDF (if you do not know how to do this just use the site located at http://www.pdfonline.com/convert-pdf/ – it is free). Come up with a trendy new name for your ebook and it is now time to promote it. The end user will get a great ebook that really seems like it will work well and at the end find that this, obviously, expert author is also hooking them up with a free supplement to help so a lot of them will go get it (in my case this works out to $28.00 each time someone gets this free trial offer). All that is left now is to get this ebook in front of a targeted audience.

Promoting Your eBook

The first method for promoting this free ebook is the commonly known old classic method. I include this just in case you have not heard of it before because it is still fairly solid and is a good way to make some extra bucks with very minimal work.

What you are going to want to do here is to create a torrent file out of this ebook for uploading to the popular torrent sites. This is a great method because once you upload it and people download it you have a passive source of distribution for your affiliate link that will bring in the random sale for quite some time to come. You will then want to submit this to the biggest torrent tracker sites. Really all of them that you can find but be sure not to miss/overlook the following:

When done with this be sure to let people download this file or else you wont really be getting anywhere…

For these next promotion techniques we are going to want to have this ebook hosted somewhere to download. I prefer rapidspread if possible because it creates mirrors for you so you don’t have to worry about the download being exceeded.

Next up we are going to do some forum promotion. This is, once again, a pretty classic technique but for this method it works very well. Simply find some niche forums, in my case forums about weight loss/exercise, and sign up a new account. If possible stick the URL with a descriptive anchor text, be sure to mention that this ebook is free, in your signature and then start posting in active threads. Don’t make it spammy, make sure your post is relevant and it will stay up. This is another great passive strategy because not only will people from this forum download your ebook but when people from Google search and find this forum post that is so active they will eventually come across your signature and scoop up the ebook. People who love free stuff will download this ebook and that is good for you because people who love free stuff will also get your CPA trial offer.

Now if you are looking for less of a passive long term solution and more of a quick commission, although you will probably get banned shortly so the sales life on this method is short lived, you can try less subtle advertising – also known as spam!

To do this simply create a new topic and let everyone know how you found this free ebook that has a great exercise routine in it and after trying diets/workouts for months with no success you have already seen the results in a few short days with this routine. Of course provide your link and reiterate that this ebook is free – no strings attached.

The third option is to spam private messages. You can do this manually but it is quite a pain. You can also check out Mass PM Markete. It is only $27 and found at http://www.nouru.com it will private message everyone on the forum for you automatically which is nice and at $27 you make your money back from the first conversion (and even turn a dollar profit in this case haha). It really is a great tool for this and other methods.

I recommend spending a few hours and rinsing/repeating your forum marketing on as many of the biggest forums you can find in your niche to insure maximum exposure to your ebook.

The next way we are going to promote our ebook is through another classic strategy, Yahoo! Answers. For this method create two accounts which I will call Account 1 and Account 2 because my imagination is a bit slow at this early hour.

With the first account we are going to post a question. Now the thing to bear in mind here is that you are not targeting Yahoo! Answers traffic but rather Google traffic. This works well because Yahoo! Answers is considered by Google to be a very high authority website and thus, almost immediately, ranks your question at the top of search engine results for keywords found in the question’s title. You must also, however, phrase it to look somewhat like a question so Yahoo! Answers users don’t flag it as spam.

Now I will post this and come back with Account 2 to follow up. Account two will make their response which will look somethi ng like:

That’s it for now. I will usually do 3-4 questions and answer them per day based around different keyword sets. I pulled this one off the top of my head but if you need help with keyword research there are plenty of tools, AdWords has a free one that works great and gives traffic figures.

In a few days I can come back and pick my answer as best answer so that anyone searching Google and clicking through to here will find the link and download my ebook.

Tomorrow I would create two new accounts and do 3-4 questions again. This is because every now and then you will get one of these accounts banned for this and so it is better to have the questions spread out so they are not all removed at the same time in the event that this happens.

Our final promotion technique is going to be to create a blog around this niche, for free on Blogger.com, and promote the hell out of our ebook on it. Now you could write some articles and make it look fancy but I don’t want to spend more than 30 minutes TOTAL ONE TIME on this so I’m just going to make a sloppy looking auto blog hosted on blogger.com. In order to this we are going to follow the following guide of mine for this process:

The first thing you need to do is navigate your way over to Blogger.com and
sign up. You may already have an account but you will want to create each
blog on a new one due to the fact that auto blogs are occasionally banned
when reported.

Now create a new blog and customize it a bit. Be sure to insert some big links and presells for your new ebook before the first post and in the sidebar, of course blend the colors for a higher CTR as
well.

Now go to ‘Settings’ and then ‘E-mail’. You’re going to create a new e-mail
that will be used as your ‘Mail-to-Blogger’ e-mail.

It should look like: yourbloggername.whateveryoulike@blogger.com
Under the e-mail setting click where it says ‘Publish E-mails Immediately’.

What you have now done is set up this blog, hosted on
Blogger.com/BlogSpot.com, to automatically post whatever contents come
into your e-mail. Now you’re getting the auto picture… right?
From here all you have to do is to get fresh e-mails into your inbox, easy
enough!

I am sure you have seen a whole crap ton of people trying to get you to opt
in to their various niche related mailing lists. Like me you probably always
stayed well away, while now you see that they are actually good for
something! The majority of these mailings lists actually send out
personalized lessons, with a subtle sales pitch only one in four or five
mailings to keep you subscribed. Most mailers, at least the good ones,
created theses mailings themselves which means you actually now have not
only a good sized series of niche specific e-mails coming in, to be
automatically turned into blog posts, but a good percentage of the time it is
valuable info that is 100% copyscape passed unique content! Show me how
even a paid auto blog can do that without rewriting to the point of obvious
machine jumbled crap!

Now you will note that most mailings have a limited course. Because of this I
recommend you subscribe this blog to a new mailing list once a month. This
will only take you about 5 seconds per blog per month, you can even leave it
with your 30 or so unique articles and it will continue to generate traffic and
income for years but really is 5 seconds that big of a headache? I usually jot
down the day that I started in a notepad document and then everyday head
back and look for the blogs created one month ago to add them to a new
mailing list. I do 5 new blogs a day which takes me about 10 minutes total
to find quality lists for them all, use Google it is your friend!

You should have chosen a long tail keyword for your niche, this is because –
unlike regular blogs – you are going for volume rather than individual effort.
Instead of a niche on ‘lipstick shades’ go for a niche of ‘dark red lipstick
shades’. What this will allow you to do is to conduct an initial one time
promotion and then easily hit page 1 of Google without ever having to work
on backlinks again!

All that you will need to do, with your micro-sub niche, for promotion is the
classic 5 minute two step.

1. Submit your blog to the top social bookmarking sites with your long
tail keywords as the anchor text (the title of the ‘story’). Please use
Digg.com, StumbleUpon.com, Propeller.com and Reddit.com. You may
say that these are nofollow, if you believe that really matters you are
sorely mistaken. These backlinks will lend you plenty of juice in a
micro niche.

2. A few more links for good measure. Be sure to find 2-5 related blog
posts and quickly comment on them. The quickest way to do this and
still remain not looking like spam is to put your URL in the URL box
only and to just read a comment, then reply to the comment like this:

@ Jim23 – I agree with what you’re saying about Obama but I still
won’t vote for him!

Boom! You got a relevant blog comment, with your link, that will pass
even moderated blogs!

Hope you enjoyed that, as you can see it is pretty simple. People coming to this blog from Google will now see a sloppy ugly blog they don’t want to sift through and the only links around will be to your free ebook so they are going to start downloading it!

That’s all that there is to this method. Sure it takes some time to do it right but the material gets out there and circulated and you will make long term money, unlike with Craiglist etc., with this method.

Classic Craigslist Method
eBay Want it Now Method
Yahoo! Answers Method

Classic Craigslist Method:

The first thing that we are going to cover is a standard Craigslist campaign, of course with some good
twists and advice. Although most of you have probably delved into CPA and Craigslist the fact that you
are reading this would lead me to believe that you most likely spent all day posting ads and got maybe
1­2 leads/sales if you were lucky. This is because, like all things in life, there is an easy and a hard way
to run a Craigslist CPA campaign!

The first thing we are going to be doing is, of course, choosing an offer. Now, you should – at least at
some point – have a bunch of different CPA accounts so that you can always find an offer that inspires
you. If you have only one or two then head over to your account and start browsing. If you have multiple
CPA accounts then your best friend is going to be offervault.com, you have to sign up but it is free. This
will allow you to search offers across all of the top networks (a little hint, if your network is not listed
here they probably either shave really bad or possibly do not even pay! Stay away from the unknown
CPA networks).

You are going to want to find an offer that inspires you with a campaign. After a few campaigns this
should start coming fairly naturally to you. For now just read through once and see how I do it, then you
can go back to the start and run through this to create your own campaign.

The offer that I selected today is going to be for free business cards. This is a free trial so the person
will pay like $2­5 for shipping but will be rebilled big later on. This allows the advertiser to pay me out
$14 for each person that wants a set of 250 free business cards.

Now that I picked out my offer I’m going to make a redirect. This serves two purposes:

1. If your CPA network/par ticular advertiser doesn’t allow e­mail marketing it will look like you
are doing PPC, which is always allowed.
2. It gives a nice clean URL to put in your e­mails, way better than that mile long affiliate URL
they spit out at ya.

To make a redirect simply look for a link that is designed either for PPC or e­mail/plain text if available.
If not take any affiliate link they spit at ya for this offer. Now, we are going to create a new .txt
document and paste this in it (see next page):

Simply replace the three spots where  http://YOURAFFILIATELINK.com appears and replace it with
the affiliate link you just generated. Now save this as index.html and upload it to your host. Voila! Your
domain has now become an instant redirect to your product which not only hides the referrer but also
makes everything look nice and clean.

So, I am now going to set up my delayed auto responder using gmail. I know this seems kind of ass
backwards but I already have thought up my plan for turning people into leads and this is just how my
mind works so hang in there it will all make sense soon :)

The first thing I’m going to do is to create a new gmail account, hopefully you can get that figured out!
A couple of pointers here:

1. Always use a girl’s name.
2. Use her name, first and last, or some variation thereof for her e­mail address as well – this lends
to the believability and helps me out a lot because I was born without the infamous creativity
bone.
3. Remember the girl’s name – you’re gonna need it when we get started with Craigslist posting.
I use Mozilla Thunderbird for this which is great because it does all of the leg work for you and it is
FREE. After you have Thunderbird installed on your computer just power it up and tell the application,
when prompted, that you are going to be using a Gmail account. It will load all of the pop/imap settings
for you and link it all together! Now all you have to do is to create your auto response. For this feature
compose a new e­mail, don’t fill out who it is to just the subject and body. My e­mail, for this campaign
will run like this:

Hi thanks for getting back to me so quick, sorry to say though I already let the voucher for the free
1,000 business cards go a little while ago. I got a whole ton of people mailing me though so I tracked

They’re free so that should get you going, sorry again!

Of course I would replace the girl’s name and the URL would go to my domain where I uploaded that
redirect. By now you are probably seeing where my plan here is f lowing, I am going to be offering a
free voucher for 1,000 free business cards. Then when people respond to my e­mail I will mail them
back, all automatically with my delayed auto responder, telling them it is gone; since they already have
their hopes up some of them will order the free 250 business cards from my offer and I will make $14
for each one who does so!

So now it is time to get posting. I will head over to some major cities in Craigslist and get started here.
A little trick for everyone, your IP will get softblocked if you try to post a bunch from it so either
change your IP every two posts, if you have DSL or dial­up just disconnect, or acquire some phone
verified accounts (they run about $3 a pop and a Google search will find a ton) which you can post 2
ads per PVA, or phone verified account, each day.

I will be posting in the ’For Sale’ section in the sub section ’Free Stuff’. For this example I have AT&T
DSL so I can simply unplug/replug my modem after each two ads so I am not going to worry about
PVAs since this section does not require them.

So I will post my ad in the ’Free Stuff’ section bearing in mind a couple of important points for each
individual ad:

1. Each ad must be about 60%+ unique. This means no copy/pasting you actually need to write out
each ad. This is easy as you can just kind of change your backstory slightly.
2. Backstory is EVERYTHING. If you just say you are giving away free stuff people are going to
know its an ad for a CPA offer and you will get f lagged extremely fast!
3. Title/E­mail needs to be different in every ad as well. A little trick here for the e­mail part is that
if you ad +numbers at the end of your Gmail address it will look unique to Craigslist but the e­
mails will still come to you. Example: Your Gmail is somegirl@gmail.com, for your next post
input somegirl+232@gmail.com – your e­mail will look unique to Craigslist’s system but it will
still come to your inbox because Gmail disregards the + and anything after it.
4. We want to always select the ’Hide’ option on the e­mail then write the e­mail address you
picked out in the body of the ad. This is because it will require people to manually e­mail you
instead of going through Craigslist’s system. If you do not do this you will be responding to
@craigslist.org e­mails and after you send out 20 mails they will bounce back undeliverable.
5. Never put your link in the ad. It will get f lagged & removed really fast. Sending your link out is
the whole purpose of that auto responder we set up!

Alright that pretty well covers that, so now let us move on to what my ad in the campaign would look
like:

That’s all there is to it. Remember, the key to Craigslist is volume. Get PVAs if you cannot change your
IP but you get out what you put in. You should be able to post up 20-30 ads in a couple of hours which
should be your minimum for any campaign. Most campaigns like this one will yield me 10-50
responses per ad and out of those 1 in about 20 will buy. That means that after you spend a couple of
hours posting on Craigslist you should be looking at about $120 a day (conservative figure, I like to
shoot low and let high earnings be a pleasant surprise).

Now that you have learned this method pick out an offer of your own, come up with a back story and let
your campaign fall into place. Since, after initial setup, you are only going to be spending a couple of
hours on this (I can’t stand posting so this is all I’m willing to devote) we will go out now and use a
couple of other means to generate some leads for this very same offer.

Using I Want it Now (eBay):

I want it now is eBay’s marketplace which allows users to post that they want to buy something that
they cannot find. Then, sellers may respond via a form with the link to their auction. There is one fatal
f law to this system that we are about to exploit the hell out of and that is the fact that they let you send a
message to the person who wants something’s e­mail right from a form there; seriously, could they
make it any easier for us?

To get started you will need an eBay account and I recommend you make a new one for this because we
are going to be borderline spamming, although not really in my eyes because the person is, after all,
soliciting sales pitches on a desired product. You account does not need to have a credit card/seller
abilities tied to it. Just create a new one real quick and run with it. Now head over to the Want it Now
website which can be found at:

From here just run a search for ’Sellers’ with a keyword that your CPA offer fits. In this case I am going
to run business cards. The amount of postings here is pretty low but for some types of offers, especially
fitness related stuff it can be huge. In order to send them a little message use the box that says ’Ask a
question about this post’. If you try to actually respond it will require you to use an eBay listing but this
way you can put anything that your little heart desires.

A little tip – they don’t need to be looking for your exact product. As an example, if they are looking for
an exercise machine then send them a message saying that you bought it and really didn’t get any results
BUT you did manage to lose a ton of weight and feel better in the process with the help of a great all
natural diet supplement. The best part? They have a FREE 14 day supply trial going on right now that
can be found at http://www.YOURAFFILIATELINK.com

So I have located a few postings for people looking to get business cards done. This offer is pretty easy
to get near 100% conversions on because these people were actually already looking to pay money right
now for the exact product I am going to show them how to get for free. I will send them a message that
will look something like this:

Hey,
I saw that you were looking to pay for some business cards. I just got mine done at
http://www.YOURAFFILIATELINK.com and they let you have 250 for free to try to rope ya in. The
best part is I came back and ordered another 250 and got those free too. Just thought I’d give you a
heads up, no need to pay for something that is free for the taking!

See how easy that was? This method will result in an almost guaranteed sale because they are looking
for the exact product I am promoting and probably already had their credit card out ready to spend.

Who doesn’t like to save a little cash? Ok, this method was pretty straightforward so I’m sure you got
the hang of it. Lets move on to the next thing I do to promote my CPA offer.

Yahoo! Answers CPA Method:

This is one of the oldest tricks in the book but it works VERY well with CPA offers. I mean, if it made
so many sales with crappy ClickBank products where the person actually had to fork over cash just
imagine the kind of dough you’re going to be rolling in with free or free trial CPA offers.

The first thing to do is to create two Yahoo! Answers accounts. I suggest you make them on separate IP
addresses if you can, if not it is really not that big of a deal I just like to take extra precautions whenever
possible. We will call these accounts: Account 1 and Account 2 (yes, again, I am about the most
creative person you will probably ever have the pleasure of encountering).

With Account 1 you will make a couple of posts. The trick here is that Yahoo! Answers ranks extremely
well in Google so you want to make your title the phrase that a person would be searching for and you
are sure to capture a spot somewhere in the top 1­3 places. The other thing is you want it to also look
like a question so that users over at Yahoo! Answers don’ report you and get your question taken down.

For this campaign I will make 3 questions to start with all of which just popped into my head. Probably
tomorrow I will do a little keyword research (Google AdWords rocks for this if you have an account) to
see what kind of things get a lot of search traffic related to free business cards and I will post up a few
more questions. My questions today are going to be, posted with Account 1:

Where to Get Free Business Cards?
Best Free Business Card Website?

That was pretty easy. I suggest you put a line or two in the body of the question so that you don’t get
f lagged as spam. Something like ’how can I get free business cards online?’ should do the trick.
Now I am going to come back with Account 2 and answer all of these questions saying something like:

Hey,
I got 250 free business cards for my business online a few days ago. Check out
http://www.YOURAFFILIATELINK.com for their promotional offer which is where I got them!
That was pretty easy. In a couple of days I will simply come back and log on to Account 1 and then
choose this as my ’Best Answer’ which puts it up there for everyone who comes from Google to see.

One little note here is that each day I create two new accounts because eventually, if you make too many
posts like this, your account will be closed down. Having many accounts means that you will not lose
all of your posts if an account is closed. This is one of my favorite CPA methods because this can bring
in passive leads/sales for months on end.

That’s all there is to it. You now have a three­pronged approach to making money, the white hat way,
with CPA offers. If you use this method daily you can expect a full time income for far less than a full
time work week.
